PS4 Hype Train by com1cr3tard PS4 Hype Train by com1cr3tard
The Play Station 4 has been unveiled! The first I read of it, I read a bunch of really cool games were coming out for it, but I was lied to! It still seems really cool though, can't wait for Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeros or the new (hopefully not as awful as XIII) Final Fantasy!

 My thoughts exactly! Even with all the hype, nothing's really been confirmed yet, lol.

I've only recently got my PS3 (last year..), so I'm hoping Sony continues to make PS3 games for a while.

You'll get a good number of new PS3 games, don't worry. The PS2 got new games well after they were done with it.

I have yet to see something of the PS4 that would make me buy one on it's merits, despite being a Playstation gamer since the first model; having said that, I'm sure that Sony will pull their finger out in due course. Less RPGs and FPS games, please!

Hopefully E3 will be the PS4's chance to shine. We have yet to see potential, or the new console itself!

I like the light in the back of the controller, though. :D

Yeah, that is pretty cool! While somewhat trivial, the share button seems neat so some degree.

I'm actually hoping that Kingdom Hearts 3 gets a release on the Wii U.

but yeah. I'm not currently impressed by what the PS4 currently has to offer.

It has potential. But until I see something truly moving, I've still got a TON of PS2 games to play! I actually haven't even started on all the PS3 games I own.

granted, not every Playstation fanboy does the stuff I mentioned in my other comment, but it's the portion that do that annoy me to no end.

To make things clear, I don't hate Sony or the PlayStation consoles. I hate the fanboys who keep badmouthing Nintendo because their systems don't have graphics or hardware that are as good as the PS3's or certain "hardcore" franchises that haven't been on Nintendo consoles.

And they whine and moan if Nintendo consoles get a game that they really want on the Sony console. (See: Resident Evil 4 and Viewtiful Joe.)

IMO, Sony has had enough exclusive Kingdom Hearts games as it is, as whatever games Nintendo gets on their consoles get ported to Sony consoles eventually in some form. Nintendo deserves the same treatment.

Funny thing is, I've been playing Viewtiful Joe on PS2 lately, haha! But I see what you mean. Yeah, console wars are a nasty thing.

funny that you're playing it! I recently finished a Let's Play of the game! I used the Gamecube version for it, but hey, check it out if you want! [link]

Cool, good quality too. What do you use to make your let's plays?

I use a few things in my recording setup.

One of those multi-input selector boxes. this one has 2 output ports so I can have one going to the TV, and the other going to my computer so I can play with no lag.

A Diamond VC500MAC capture cable to capture the footage, and the VideoGlide software that came with it (I use a Macbook pro, so this capture device is mac exclusive). a cool feature about this capture device is the fact that it has a button that you can set up to start recording when you click the button.

MPEG Streamclip software to de-interlace the video footage. In my first LP (Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure) and my third LP (Which was completed before starting Viewtiful Joe because my Wii became unable to read discs, so I had to wait for a Gamecube I ordered off of Amazon.com), there were a number of pretty funky graphical errors due to the footage being interlaced. (See the "shake" commands in this video from my first project: [link] )

Turtle Beach Headset: The headset I used in my Star Fox 64 and Skylanders Let's Plays was a horrible-quality one. by Viewtiful Joe, I had upped my quality using a turtle beach headset. Word of warning: If your computer has a line-in port and not a microphone port, you'll need to buy an adapter in order to plug it into a USB port

I use Garageband to record my solo recording sessions, but if I am doing co-commentary with someone else (like I did with ~JSHADOWM for Metroid Fusion, I use iChat if they have a mac as well, but as for Windows... well, the only free skype recorders are Windows-based, so I have them record the audio for me.

iMovie: Simple video editing software, but it works.

Sorry for the long post, man.
